Quai d’Orsay No. 50 is a light, very creamy and elegant cigar. It usually opens with sweet cedar, toasted bread and dry hay, wrapped in a gentle honeyed sweetness. As it settles in, you often get hints of vanilla, soft pastry, and a touch of citrus like lemon or orange cream, plus a faint floral note in the aroma. In the later stages the profile can add subtle nuts, café au lait and a little white pepper, but it always stays smooth, refined and easy-going rather than powerful or aggressive.
