Montecristo Sublimes Edición Limitada 2008 opens deep and refined, with dark cocoa, espresso, and sweet cedar from its mature oscuro wrapper. Mid-palate brings caramelized wood, toasted brioche, and leather, laced with baking spices (cinnamon, clove) and a touch of orange peel/dried fig. The smoke grows creamy and rounded with age—nougat, cappuccino, and roasted nuts—while the retrohale shows gentle black pepper and floral dryness. It finishes long and elegant, lingering with bittersweet chocolate, polished oak, and a trace of earth.
